What is Green Construction
What is green construction? No, it's not a building made from moss. The "green" refers to a method of design and construction that minimizes burdens on our natural resources and the environment. This is the way ahead for the building industry to move towards achieving sustainable development, taking into account environmental, socio-economic and cultural issues. Specifically, it involves issues such as design and management of buildings, materials and building performance, energy and resource consumption - within the larger orbit of urban development and management. This requires developing a better understanding of the appropriateness in technologies that are used in buildings and construction, including indigenous materials and technologies currently under use.

Green constructions are designed to reduce the overall impact of the built environment on human health and the natural environment by:
  • Efficiently using energy, water, and other resources
  • Protecting occupant health and improving employee productivity
  • Reducing waste, pollution and environmental degradation.
  • Maintain the local and global ecosystem throughout the entire building life-cycle.

Strength. Performance. Passion.
